Details

The Yew Tree is a warm and friendly pub situated between Coal Aston and Dronfield at the top of Holmley Lane, which has just undergone a smart refurbishment.

On the first Saturday of the month, resident local band, Junkyard Dog play a mix of rock cover favourites.

Other live bands play periodically on a Saturday night throughout the year - check the gig guide for details.

Tuesday night is games league and supper night.
 
Thursday night is quiz night and chinese bingo, hosted by top local vocalist, Russ Elliott, with a couple of music spots thrown in for good measure!

A large flat screen tv shows terrestrial sports.

Lovely friendly atmosphere - kids welcome until 9.30 pm.

Outside there are picturesque views over Sheffield and Derbyshire from the decked beer garden at the front of the pub surrounded by well stocked gardens, making it a welcome watering hole for ramblers and dog walkers.  During summer months, weather permitting, there is ample room for the bouncy castle. 

Lovely friendly atmosphere - children are welcome until 9.30 pm.

At the rear there is a heated and covered smoking area allowing pleasant surroundings for all.
