Children are admitted to the Nursery from 3 years of age onwards.

The nursery is an integral part of the school and planning of the curriculum is done in consultation with all the teaching staff.

Activities within the nursery are structured to meet the needs of individual children. Learning in the nursery is set out in six areas: language, personal and social, mathematical, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical and creative, following the directive of 'The Early Learning Goals'.

The Foundation Stage curriculum continues through into the Reception Class as directed by the DFES.
