THIRSTY WORK AT THE THREE TUNS!!

THIRSTY WORK AT THE THREE TUNS!!
Since opening night at The Three Tuns (formerly The Hallowes), over 5,500 pints have been drunk by appreciators of real ales & cider.  That's alot of thirsty customers!!

And hosts, Sarah & David have been taken to task to keep the almighty cellars stocked up ..... Still, it does help, when the licensees own a brewery too!!  For David is owner and Master Brewer of Spire Breweries, based in Chesterfield.  Whilst Sarah has taken the helm at The Three Tuns, David's primary aim is to ensure that brewing continues with both quality and quantity in mind to serve the Three Tuns and his wide base of other dedicated customers.

With David & Sarah's backgrounds in the music industry, the majority of beers are aptly named with a witty musical connotation which include Amarillo, Whiter Shade of Pale, Sgt Pepper, Coal Porter & Twist and Shout!

There are 12 real ales on offer at any one time, together with a huge range of wines, speciality fruit wines, ciders & Timmerman's Fruit Beers.  Other guest beers are available from small and medium breweries ranging from Wiltshire, Oxford, Sheffield, Barlow & Scotland.  Safe to say, connoisseurs of real ale will never be short of choice.

Coming soon to The Three Tuns are quiz nights on Sunday and Wednesday, Acoustic & Folk nights, with good home cooked food available in time for British Food Fortnight starting 16th September.  The kitchen will be open for firm favourites such as all day breakfast, fresh grimsby fish & chips on Friday, and freshly baked pizzas from the Wood fired pizza oven available soon.
