A new look for The Old Pump at Barlow. 

Recent owner Craig Judson, and Assistant Manager, Jill Smith, are extending a warm welcome to customers.  Backed by a great team of staff and excellent chefs, clients are greeted with a fresh new approach and attention to customer care and satisfaction.

The interior has been given a fresh refurbishment, with attention to detail, whilst keeping the traditional village pub feel.  Families are a focus and brand spanking new children's play equipment has been installed in the beautiful garden, so that you can enjoy a drink in peace overlooking the valley on a summer's afternoon whilst the kids play.

Although Craig is keen that the pub should be a village pub for locals and visitors to enjoy a drink, diners in the restaurant are waited on by smart attentive staff, and the quality of food is second to none.

The menu offers traditional roast dishes, home-cooked pie, fish, vegetarian, and a specials board with Game Pie and Hungarian Ghoulash as an example.  In addition, special menus are available on occasions such as Mothers Day and Easter - a set menu, where quality is not compromised.

For regular customers, there is an opportunity to join the Encore Club.  If you dine at The Old Pump 5 times within 3 months, you are awarded the average cost of your meals to spend on your 6th meal.

The pub is open from 11am to 11pm seven days a week with food being served between 12pm and 2pm and evening meals between 6pm and 9pm.  Shortly, you will be able to enjoy breakfast from 10am and a quintessential English afternoon tea - watch this space for details.
