About the Church
The Oaks Community Church - a growing Church - is one of a large number of related churches springing up throughout the country in response to an exciting new move of God's Spirit. We are part of the Pioneer network which is dedicated to promoting dynamic and effective Christianity.

Our services include lively and moving worship and bible-based teaching that is relevant to the everyday lives of all ages. We regard the building of real, deep friendships and family life as of great importance. God has also blessed us with a powerful healing ministry, and there are public and private opportunities to receive prayer for healing.

On most Sundays we meet at the Oaks Community Church on Lea Road at 10.30am. This is also the base for some of our wide range of children's and youth groups. The remaining groups and our house groups meet in members' homes throughout the town.



Regular midweek meetings are as follows:
 
Acorns Parent & Toddler Group - Fridays 10.00 - 11.30am during term time only. Please contact 414448 to enquire about places.
 
J-Team is a dynamic group for children aged 5 - 7 and meets on Wednesdays between 4.30 and 5.30 pm
 
Kool Kids is for children aged 7 - 11 and takes place on Thursdays from 6.00 - 7.30 pm.
 
There are a range of youth groups available for 11- 16 year olds.  Please phone 414448 for more details.
