THE BLUE STOOPS

Having undergone a transformation in the past few years this landmark pub is now firmly re-established and positioned as one of Dronfields premier venues. Situated in the heart of the town's commercial centre, this original listed building retains all the charm and characteristics you would expect from a pub hundreds of years old, but a refurbishment and on-going investment has brought it up to modern standards, now fully-equiped to compete with largercity centre venues. And all this is right on your Dronfield doopstep!

Inside, four separate areas cater for all tastes. Cosy, quieter front rooms, compliment and work alongside larger, livelier main areas, to provide a vibrant community local that never fails to deliver a fun time. Original oak panelling, beams and stone fireplaces, combine effortlessly with modern wide-screen TVs, 'club' style lighting and sound systems, resulting in a unique atmosphere and experience.....the best of both worlds, old and new!

Outside, bench seating and giant heated parasols offer warmth and shelter through all weather, all year round.

Unique to Dronfield, we invite you to bring your own food to The Blue Stoops! The central location amoungst all the many shops, offices and community buildings in the Civic Centre enables many workers to take a break from their desk or workplace at lunchtime, and eat your own lunch in the comfort of the pub!. Whether its sandwiches, fish and chips, pizza, be it home-made or a take-away, we can provide plates, cutlery, condiments, etc. All we ask is you buy a drink from the bar!
