"Never cast a clout until May is Out" goes the old saying - but as we know only too well in this country - best make hay whilst the sun shines!  And last weekend was no exception - out came the sun, shorts and bar-b-que - not only one day but for four days running.  This weekend was a little disappointing to say the least, but it didn't deter we hardy Brits - another planned Barbie, but with a few more layers of clothing and the comfort of cooking under the cover of a gazebo.

But once you've thrown on the burgers and sausages, tried all the different varieties, mixed them with a few bread buns and a bit of salad, its time to get out of the comfort zone and try something a little more adventurous.  So we're asking you to share your favourite bar-b-que recipes with us and see if we can fill the balmy evenings of summer with a tantalising aroma of great al-fresco eating over the roof tops of Dronfield.  Your ideas can be elaborate or just quick and easy to get our taste buds jumping.

Here's one for starters - we put corn on the cob on the barbie and basted them in butter and balsamic vinegar with mint - so easy and the taste was fabulous!
