The original part of this attractive stone built building dates back to the 18th century when it was a famous Coaching Inn. It has been tastefully extended over the years to offer various facilities.

The Restaurants Leger room provides facilities to cater for groups and parties, menus have already been designed for this type of occasion and at no extra cost table flowers and place cards can be provided for parties.
They have carefully selected locally sourced fresh produce to offer a superb choice of menus. The Wild Boars extensive a la carte menu served seven days a week is a prime example of good freshly prepared modern and traditional food. A Steaknight menu is also served on a Wednesday & Thursday evenings allowing you to taste some of the best steaks in the area. You can even get a traditional Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price.
To compliment their menus the Wild Boar has an extensive wine list offering new world and regional wines, and you can even sample the local vine from Renishaw Hall.

The comfortable cocktail bar is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a drink before or after your meal. You can even have a drink in their lounge bar for that less formal occasion, where they also serve a wide choice of food.
