School Lane Kids’ Club is situated in Dronfield Infant School Hall. We also use many of the School facilities including the library, utility room, both the Infant and Junior School Play areas and the use of Schools equipment.

The Coordinator runs the club alongside the Deputy Coordinator and Playworkers. They are all C.R.B cleared and have, or working towards childcare qualifications. A voluntary management committee oversees the club and staff. This is made up of the coordinator and parents whose children attend the club. The committee are there to make key decisions in relation to the successful running of the club. We are always looking for new parents who would like to join the committee. If you are interested please speak to the coordinator.

The club is Ofsted inspected and has been awarded the highest grade attainable.

We offer a range of activities for all abilities and interests ranging from Art and Craft, Baking, Free Play, and general relaxation if required. The club also offers drama and sport coaching classes for no additional cost.

School Lane Kids’ Club supports equal opportunities. Policies and Procedures must be adhered to.


Aims & Objectives

At School Lane Kids’ Club we offer quality play and care for children aged 4-11 years old from their local School’s.

We aim to provide play opportunities for local children. The environment will be a safe and accessible to encourage all round development and learning.

Dronfield Kids’ Club is an organisation, which caters for the need of the local children after school, during the holidays and in the morning before school.

We offer a range of experiences for the children, to include Arts and Crafts, Sports, Games, Drama and Music in a safe and stimulating child-centred environment.

School Lane Kids’ Club is committed to offering high quality play in an environment, which is accessible, hazard free, free from discrimination, yet stimulating, challenging but most of all Fun.

The children will be made aware that this is their club and have just as an important role in it as everyone else. Any ideas that they may have will be looked at, and where possible implemented. This may include activities, snacks, rules and procedures.

All children must be registered. Forms are available from the Club.


Opening Times:
Breakfast Club – Week days: 7.45am – 9.00am  
After School Club – Week days: 3.15pm – 6.00pm  
Holiday Club – Open during most holidays
