Penny Acres is a small rural school in the village of Holmesfield on the outskirts of Dronfield.

The school site has a large playground, and playing field.

Inside the building there are two fully equipped teaching areas; one with a soundproof screen allowing for teaching flexibility.

A newly-built extension on the back of the school is accessible from both classrooms and offers space for a range of activities including water and "messy" play and small-group work.

There is also a well-resourced library area.

Penny Acres Primary School was inspected in December 2007 and
we were judged to be "good overall with an outstanding level of personal care and guidance".

The school is in the village of Holmesfield and has small class sizes.  School dinners are fully prepared and cooked on the premises. 

There is a good sized playground and a sports field at the back of school.
 
Penny Acres Primary School is within a 5-10 minute drive from anywhere in Dronfield, Coal Aston or the Totley and Bradway areas of Sheffield and a 15 minute drive from the Newbold area of Chesterfield.
