The recent opening of The Painted Teapot has proved to be a great success for owner Lynzie Houston; so much so, that she has organised some special events to celebrate Valentines Day, Mother's Day, as well as a specialist block course in fabric design.

Full details are oulined below:

Introduction to fabric design Workshop, Delivered by local artist Steph Harvey.

£55 for 5 weeks

Thursday 6pm – 9pm

Meet new friends, learn new skills!

•   Screen printing
•   Batik
•   Design and paint a silk scarf
•   Surface pattern

Date Night!!

Thursday 16th February is Date Night at The Painted Teapot. Bring along your valentine, a bottle of wine, and enjoy a date with a difference!

Single??? - Bring along friends instead...you never know who you might meet!

Mothers day workshop

Sunday 11th March 12.30 – 14.30
Price £20

Attention Dads!!! The Painted Teapot will be running a special workshop for Mother’s day presents. Bring along your children and let them paint a plant pot for mum. You can choose from a selection of plants and The Painted Teapot will plant up your pot ready for collection a week later.

Choose from plants such as Daffodills or Crocus.

All ages welcome - baby’s hand and foot prints, toddlers splashing paint, older children with carefully planned designs.... and don’t forget the Adults too!

We have stamps, stencils, tracing paper and books for ideas!
