Details
Northfield Nursery is an established, OFSTED approved and non-profitable organisation run by a parent committee situated within Northfield Junior School on Falcon Road in Dronfield.

The children, ranging from 2 - 5 years are cared for by a dedicated, experienced team who are sensitive to the individual development of each child, and ensuring that the activities undertaken are suitable for the stage they have reached.

The high adult : child ratio is of considerable benefit to the care and individual needs of the children and is hugely apparent in the atmosphere of the classroom which depicts calm, happy and content little people.

The nursery, although part of the junior school, has an independent enclosed garden and play area which overlooks the breathtaking views of the valley, and also access to the school hall.

There is a hot meal available in the school dining hall for children receiving full day care.

Sessions available (during term time) are as follows:

Morning session: 9.15am - 11.45am
Afternoon session: 1.00pm - 3.30pm
All day care - 9.15am - 3.30pm

Local Education Authority funding is available for all 3 and 4 year olds.

The aim of Northfield Nursery is to give your child the best possible start and support in life to fulfill their potential within a safe, caring and stimulating environment in which every child feels valued.
