One of the most stylish hotels Derbyshire has to offer, The Manor House Hotel is an impressive grade II-listed building, built over 400 years ago, and is a well known landmark in Dronfield.

New owners Stephen Geary and Kevin Gage, have worked hard to "chuck out the chintz", and have done so with the utmost respect for its history.
The Manor House has therefore retained all its original features, whilst adding a contemporary feel and blending the old with the new.

Certainly well worth the wait, the hotel has been refurbished to the highest standard which combines the building's original features with a touch of contemporary quirkiness which create a rich ambiance and beautiful surroundings in which to dine.

Local interior designer, Lisa Brook is the genius behind the decor.  Taking a theme which pays tribute to the stars from the silver screen, she has created 9 beautiful bedrooms and 2 suites where one can escape the stresses of modern day living.  Luxurious and elegant contemporary soft furnishings exude a hint of nostalgia, transporting you back to a time, where film stars were at the pinnacle of their fame, and subsequently became locked in a timeless infinity. 

Aptly named, the Loren and Hepburn Suites, are stylishly decorated with a hint of femininity without going overboard, whilst the McQueen, Newman and Dean Rooms are single bedrooms tastefully styled to appeal to both masculine and feminine guests.  

All rooms are equipped with free WiFi Internet access, flatscreen HDTV and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Cafe-Bar, stylishly chic with a contemporary up-market feel, is a long-awaited meeting place for those who wish to dine and socialise in ambient and  relaxed surroundings.  The menu has been carefully designed to compliment the hotel ethos, and offers beautifully presented Tapas-style dishes, which incorporate flavours from around the globe.  Conversely, a lighter lunch-time menu of sandwiches, baguettes and salads, or a quintessientally English range of  beautiful home-made cakes and pastries served with afternoon tea, blend beautifully in creating an anglo-cosmopolitan aura.

Breakfast is served from 7am - 10am, Lunchtime menu is available between 10am and 3pm, and Tapas is served between 3pm and 8pm.

Situated in a perfect location central to both Sheffield and Derbyshire, guests can enjoy a wonderful get-away experience, whether on business or purely for pleasure, and be sure of quality service of the highest order expected only from a first class independently owned hotel.
