A house which people with a disability can rent and live their own independent life there with their own support
Many people with learning disabilities have difficulty finding the right care, education and leisure opportunities. Most of the time feeling that barriers are continuously put in their way by society and also at times feeling abandoned.
Here we want to change this. We provide specialist support for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs.
We believe that people with learning disabilities have the right to be full active members of the society in which they live and we positively embrace this ethos in all aspects of care delivery.
Our main aim is to enable the tenants to be part of a modern society where everyone is valued and has the opportunity to play their role to the best of their ability with the right amount of support, guidance, motivation and leadership.
WE ACHIEVE THIS BY:
* Enabling tenants to access other health professionals.
* Ensuring tenants lead full and purposeful lives. * Putting our tenants needs first.
* Promoting rights, choice, independence, and inclusion in all aspect of their daily living.
* Promoting tenants to have more control in their life choices. * Training the support team to deliver quality care by following good practice guidelines within the home.
* Supporting tenants to access education, recreation, leisure and employment opportunities in and around the home and the community. * Adopting a ‘person centred’ plan of care delivered around the goals , aims and personal aspirations in their life.
