Local removals firm Lawlers, established for over 50 years is set to be the number one service for removals and relocation since its take-over by national removals group Clockwork Group Holdings forming Clockwork Lawlers Removals and Storage under the control of new Managing Director, Chris Johnson.

Chris made the move south from Edinburgh after working for Clockwork Removals for 8 years. He Joined as a Porter whilst at the same time completing his studies in Business at University in Edinburgh. After completing his studies he joined Clockwork as Operations Manager. An opportunity arose recently for the Clockwork Group to take over the Lawlers removals business to establish it as part of a national group, but with the emphasis being firmly on Clockwork Lawlers being a local company.

Together with Mick who is Operations Manager and Surveyor with 15 years' service, there are 6 full time drivers and porters, efficiently backed by Office Manager, Louise and Accounts Manager, Claire.

With a first class service at reasonable prices, and in a climate which some might consider bleak where the housing market is concerned, the future is looking very bright for Clockwork Lawlers.
