Details

Our group began a year ago with a grant from the Local Network fund. Our aim is to  integrate children with special needs and able-bodied children in an atmosphere of stimulation and learning though play.

We have a craft area, soft play area, a home corner and an area set aside for sit-and-ride toys.

The centre also has a sensory room for children and parents, a place for stimulation and relaxation.

Three members of staff are fully trained in Makaton signing for those children with communication difficulties.

The sessions also give parents the opportunity to chat with others while the children play.

In the summer months we offer outdoor play in the park.


Session costs

Sessions run on Monday, Tuesday & Friday 10am to 12noon

Children 6 months and over: £1.50 per session + 50p per extra child

Under 6 months: free of charge


The centre is open throughout all holidays except Christmas
