Details
Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery, based at Newbold on the outskirts of Dronfield, offers affordable high quality child care to children from 0 - 5 years.

Situated on the site of a former infant school, there are two main play rooms and a separate building used by the under two's.  All the children share access to a secure enclosed outdoor play area, making good use of the 'Monkey Towers' climbing frame and role playing in the 'Monkey Hut'.  The nursery provides the use of high quality equipment which is regularly updated.

The nursery has 3 aptly named dedicated rooms, where care is specific to the needs of a particular age group: chimpanzees (0-2 years), orangutans (2-3 years) and gorillas (3-5 years).

A highly qualified team of carers is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your child, in a warm, safe, friendly and stimulating environment. 

On joining the nursery, your child is introduced to a key worker from the appropriate section, who will build a special relationship and take the main responsibility of your child's individual needs.  At the end of each day the key worker will let you know the kinds of activities your little one has engaged in and what progress he/she is making.

The nursery aims to provide:

* A safe, secure and fun environment for the children.
* Opportunities for all children of different ages and abilities, to learn and reach their full potential.
* Equal opportunities for all children.
* Professional and caring support for children with safety, hygiene, knowledge of staff and interaction of staff with children.

Good relationships with parents are important to the team at Cheeky Monkeys. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in their child's learning and development. All planning is based on children's individual interests and needs.


The Nursery provides:

Free sessions for 3-4 year olds

Full and part-time places available for 0-5 year olds.

Before and After School Club for children under 8.

Pre-arranged visits for parents to have a look around the nursery are welcomed.
