The Akademy - Home of 5-a-side!

The Akademy is home to the latest in 3G rubber crumb astro-turf pitches which is available for private hire and is home to our in house 5-a-side leagues!

With a pay-as-you-go Fitness Suite, Club Bar and Function Suite to compliment, The Akademy is the premier Sporting and Leisure location for the Chesterfield/Sheffield area.

FOOTBALL

Leagues
Why not get involved in one of our dedicated professionally run 5-a-side leagues? We are a leisure centre which offers very competitive rates on private pitch hires and match fees, all games take place on top of the range 3G Astro-turf which is secured by boarding, fencing and top netting. This is a great keep fit aid and promotes team building. All our leagues run all year round so your staff can stay in shape whatever the weather!

Pitch Hire
We have the latest 3G astroturf pitches, changing room with showers and lockers and a secured CCTV covered car park. The club bar is open until 11.30 pm.

Junior Soccer Parties
why not use the Akademy for your children's birthday party? Spend an hour of action packed fun on our state of the art, 5 a side 3G synthetic grass pitches, followed by the use of our recently refurbished bar to enjoy your food and drinks, and use of the big screen to watch the latest football action or your favourite cartoons.

Party packages start at £70 for a party of 10, including medals and certificates and party bag.

Junior Akademy
Children's Soccer Sessions are available 4-00pm until 5-30pm EVERY TUESDAY and 9-30am until 11-30pm EVERY SATURDAY (Thursday sessions coming soon). Each session is available from 4 - 14 year olds and is just £4.00 per child.

Holiday Camps
Easter and Summer Soccer Camps offer lots of action packed fun for Boys and Girls of all abilities from 6-14 years.

Corporate Events
If you've done golf days, go-karting or paintballing over and over again you'll find 5-a-side football in fantastic surroundings an excellent and different way to interact with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Spectators can enjoy our facilities too, including a fully licensed bar furnished with HD and Plasma screens. Our changing rooms include hot showers and locker facilities meaning you can look your best in preparation for the trophy presentation at the end of the event.

Finally, if you are the organiser of the event, life couldn't be easier for you. Your dedicated event manager will cover everything leading up to and including the event. We will handle fixtures, referees, team photos, trophies and medals, even the post event buffet and trophy presentation. All you have to do is turn up.

GYM & FITNESS

The main machine room has the latest cardiovascular resistance and weight-lifting machines, as well as cross-trainers, rowing machines and steppers.

The separate studio room is where all aerobic and fitness classes are held, The studio room, but also doubles as a stretching area, with mats, pilates balls, and sit-up machines.

We have a range of classes, please contact us for further details.

There is also a dedicated free-weights room with plenty of equipment and space for every one of all levels.

At the end of a hard session you can take advantage of the sauna

We offer a straight forward monthly membership of £23.00, this includes:-

    No contracts.
    No Joining Fees.
    Free Exercise programmes.
    Free Inductions.
    Free nutritional advise.
    All our instructors are professional qualified to give expert advise.

Membership is also available on a Fortnightly or Daily Rate if this suits your budget better.
