What a delight on Saturday to have the hassle taken out of dreaming up a tasty dish after a busy day, but with the edge of a weekend treat.  We visited the Farmhouse Pantry on Barnes Avenue in Dronfield Woodhouse and was met with a fantastic choice of ready prepared dishes.  After much deliberation we settled on a Carribbean Pork dish - wonderful thick juicy pork steaks in a fruity, peppery sauce with a definite kick. 

We threw some new potatoes and green beans into a saucepan, and grilled the pork, whilst simmering the sauce on the oven top.  20 minutes and a glass of wine later we had a meal to die for.  So easy.  Well recommended - we shall be back next week for more.
