G & M Lunt funeral directors, of Abbey Lane, have been given the prestigious award after an outstanding response to a Customer Satisfaction Survey carried out by the Funeral Planning Services.
The business has been established since 1932 by George Lunt and his wife Mabel, and prides itself on being a family run company. Being a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, G & M Lunt follows a strict code of practice to ensure a quality service for their customers.
Funeral Planning Services decided to award G & M Lunt after an overwhelming response from their customers to a survey taken over the past year. Although the company was oblivious to the survey being carried out, the feedback gave them credit for the Prepayment Plans they had to offer.
Customers were asked questions regarding how good they thought the plans were and the quality of the service offered. With responses including “excellent, a very efficient company to deal with,” and “very helpful with advice.”
The company has grown throughout the years and now offers a number of different Prepayment Plans to suit everyone. The business and its services have developed further in the past couple of years, providing a fleet of new hearses and limousines along with a service chapel.
Talking about the award, Graham Williams, Managing Director of Funeral Planning Services said, “We feel that funeral directors deserve some recognition for their hard work in this area.”
